Job description

We are looking for a highly experience SEO Manager H/F to join the ecommerce product squad focused on digital marketing. The purpose of this role is to act as subject matter expert within this ecommerce team and our wider digital transformation program; to take ownership of some initiatives; and to help local teams understand what they can do to accelerate on SEO.

At global level, your role will be to identify opportunities, analyse performance and conduct audits to contribute to our product roadmap with SEO initiatives to ensure optimal crawling and indexing. You will define technical specs with the help of our platform architects and lead some actions yourself.

Connecting global and local, you will also share best practices by writing business processes to help our global and local teams make the most of our SEO-enabled ecommerce ecosystem, providing clear input on topics such as content production for SEO, backlinks acquisition, and other SEO ops.

Drawing from your track record on both technical and content SEO, you will help our diverse community of product; technologists and marketers understand how we are performing SEO-wise and what steps we need to take to accelerate. You will help teams grow!

You will report directly to our Group product manager in charge of global digital marketing and will find that your day-to-day colleagues are a fast-moving ecommerce product team and diverse local marketing teams across the globe.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse digital traffic and in particular SEO performance to identify business opportunities.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits of Group ecommerce websites.
  • Develop and execute an SEO product roadmap that supports business goals.
  • Find technical enablers and specify those with the help of architects.
  • As global SEO subject matter expert, support site migrations and other major projects.
  • Collaborate across the organization to align SEO with other initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
  • Supply regular reports on traffic and organic performance, with our data team.
  • As global SEO champion, present and document best practices to a variety of audiences.

Qualification and hard skills:

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business and/or digital marketing
  • Over 7 years of experience in SEO, both technical and non-technical
  • Successful experience in international or complex environments
  • Fluent in English + French

Must have

  • You have an exceptional knowledge of SEO strategy and tactics.
  • You can request and analyse an SEO performance report, find, and explain opportunities.
  • You are experienced with large ecommerce sites, i.e., significant number of SKUs.
  • Details matter to you, and you know how to find solutions to problems.
  • You are extremely familiar with a typical suite of SEO and traffic measurement tools.

Nice to have

  • Your experience includes working with B2B or B2B2C models.
  • You can define and articulate a broader digital acquisition strategy, beyond SEO.
  • You can create reports and dashboards using a data visualization tool.

We embrace hybrid work, with 2 to 3 days a week in Paris 8/Paris 20
